crowmag 2007-11-25 04:53 I had no problems with Eliteforce's SVN builds of bbLeanSkin and NEB that utilizes the new gradient styles (too lazy-busy to complie my own). Of coarse I only had it running from a temp directory for a short while just to test what's going on. You'll find bbLeanSkin in the 'plugins' folder on that page along with a number of other plugins. Please note that only 'SplitVertical' and 'MirrorHorizontal' are working at this point (AFAIK). I'm not too excited about 'SplitHorizontal' anyway, but ''MirrorVertical' is a must see for me.
Wobble 2007-11-25 02:13 Funny, looks like it's only working in the menu title...what's the trick? :)
iTiVO 2007-11-24 18:11 The latest build of NEB already had bugs with the newest leanskin, using an older version of leanskin solved the problem though.
Wobble 2007-11-24 15:16 Is that "splitgradient" build compatible with Win98SE? Got an error message "Could not load
bbLeanSkin
Eng.dll"
iTiVO 2007-11-24 04:23 Would it be easy to realize to have a better resolution or pixmaps for the window.buttons? That would really be interesting, too, since we are rather limited there.
mini-man 2007-11-23 14:29 Truedat :P But as far as I've seen so far, BBI has been used for that sole purpose, just sidebars, amps, etc...But yeah, in a few cases I have seen it simulating pixmaps in the toolbar. And can't wait for the style iTiVO. ;D
iTiVO 2007-11-23 12:54 Now all we need is rounded corners
iTiVO 2007-11-23 12:34 Soon to come is my first style using the splitgradient :D
I think i'm in love!
crowmag 2007-11-23 08:48 How can you possibly say what BBI was meant for /\/\inimal? BBI had support for bitmaps from the get go and is a very important part of the plugin. Further more I think there is a lot of alarmist claims being thrown about. The branch is still under development and there is no alpha even available so all the negativity is pure speculation at this point. Just because you won't personally use it doesn't mean it has no right to exist. Instead of simply opposing this, maybe it would be better to extend dialog and suggestions that would allow a smoother meld into the community as a whole for this shell.
mini-man 2007-11-23 08:01 Still, BBI wasn't meant for fancy bitmaps, I don't think. It was meant for wharfs, fancy toolbars, sidebars, etc...So I don't think it will go poof anytime soon. :/
