If you run bbLean over Explorer, you can use the Show Desktop link (or Win + D) and get an instant screenful of icon shortcuts to click on (the Windows Desktop). Then as soon as you open a window, bblean takes over again (the desktop disappears). But even when the desktop is visible, BBEdgehook, SystemBarEx, the slit, etc. all work. You just can't click directly on the desktop to get the root menu.
I'm using thin (3-pixel wide), mostly transparent BBInterface buttons on the screen edges directly behind BBZCmdEx and the BBI volume slider (renamed as a separate plugin, BBIMixer) to toggle their respective plugins. And another thin BBI button in upper left corner points to Show Desktop.lnk.
This is my first public style, mostly complete, I think. :) |

Sweet desktop and great style. |
Wow, Xhenit. That's a true classic, and this is a great port. Nice work looper. |
Thanks, guys. Big grin: :D ... moshi's SPECTRE was used as the template. Thanks, moshi. |
wow, great style and cool ideas for the BBI stuff. hehe one day I'll get good enough to make something cooler than my little style chooser, one day :) |
thanks :) -- the BBI stuff I did is really easy...that's why I did it! You have to unload BBI and then change its .rc file for some things, like to make the buttons smaller than 8 pixels wide. And the buttons to toggle BBZCmdEx and the slider are just using the BBLean bro@m for loading/unloading plugins (@BBCfg.plugin.load ). I was surprised how easy it was. :) |
